Robert A. Rausch
Rob represents clients in a wide variety of personal injury matters including slip and fall accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and construction site litigation.Â Â He joined Maynard O’Connor in 1997 and was named a partner in 2004.
Rob received his legal degree from Albany Law School and is the immediate past president of the Albany Law School National Alumni Association. Â He is admitted to practice in the State of New York, the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Western Districts of New York, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the U.S. Â He is the past President of the Capital District Trial Lawyers Association and is also a member of the Albany County and New York State Bar Associations. Â Every year between 2012 and 2017, Rob was honored by Super Lawyers magazine and included in its annual issue acknowledging outstanding Upstate New York attorneys, and was recognized for his successes in the categories of both â€śPersonal Injury Defense: Generalâ€ť andÂ â€śAppellate Practiceâ€ť.Â Robert has handled numerous trials to verdict and has argued appeals at all levels of state and federal courts. Â He has also lectured and authored materials for use in many continuing legal education programs for attorneys.
Rob is a graduate of LeMoyne College and past President of the Capital Region chapter of the LeMoyne College Alumni Association. Â He is also the co-chair of Dancing in the Woods, a fundraiser for the Albany Medical Center Children’s Cancer Center. Â He is an avid runner, having completed five marathons.
Rob resides in Guilderland with his wife.
